Global Object Timing

Hi All,

My primary e-learning task is to create simulations and assessments for my company's proprietary software. I've installed Storyline on a PC at work and I'm testing it out by creating a software demo via the screen capture tool.

I opted for individual slide output and got 55 of them; I'll probably wind up using 45. Is there any way to set the timing for all objects of the same type, either globally or per project or per scene? I find it's a huge time saver to do this, then tweak the timings only for the 5 to 10 slides that don't conform to the global settings.

For example, I set the timing globally in Captivate using these settings:
all captions begin at 0.5 sec on the timeline, and end at 3.5 sec
all mouse actions begin at 2.0 sec on the timeline, and end at 3.5 sec
all slides last 4 sec, etc.

I hope someone out there has a good suggestion; my adoption of Storyline depends on it.
