Glossary as a slide

Sep 24, 2015

I have a glossary built in Storyline. I want to display it as an actual slide within the course, not as a link that they have to click in order to view it.

Is that possible? (I searched the forums but didn't see an answer to this question.) I know I can create a glossary in Engage and import it, but I'd rather keep everything within Storyline if possible.

Thanks

Hi Stephen!

I'm not sure I'm following what you are wanting to do. If you are building a glossary in Storyline, it is intended to be a tab that the user can reference if need be.

It sounds like you just need to display information on a slide, so you would not need to utilize the glossary to do so.

You can import an Engage Glossary into your course and it becomes a part of the course you are building in Storyline.

Not sure if anyone in the community has other suggestions for your design.

Ok. Thanks Leslie. I don't want the glossary to be a tab, I want it to be a slide that appears while a user is going through the course. Yeah, since it's more the glossary is more of a reference tool within SL I can see why it wouldn't be able to natively display as a slide.

Sounds like that's best accomplished through importing an Engage file.

If anyone knows of a good way to do this that keeps everything within Storyline, I'd be interested. Thanks!
