I'm using the built-in text-to-speech feature to create audio over slides, but I'm pretty unhappy of the overall quality; all voices sound too artificial and the text recognition does not work quite right, leading to lots of misspelled words; then I'm looking for alternatives, still using a computer voice for easier maintainability; can you recommend a solution? Maybe a good 3rd party text-to-speech SW to create audio with?
I'm sorry you're having less than stellar results with the Text-to-Speech feature in Storyline - it'd help to know more specifics about what you've run into and then we can offer solutions or share the insights with my team!
Hi Ashley,
thanks for your reply.
Actually I know how to use SL text-to-speech, I wasn't looking for instructions.
I'm willing to know if there's any other text-to-speech SW you can recommend for use with SL.
Cheers,

We do have some helpful tips outlined here as well.
And, I'll be curious what other tools folks in the community are using!

Oh, thanks for clarifying Simone.
I look forward to hearing the recommendations from the community on what they are using for their text-to-speech solutions.
This blog article has a recommendation and may help get you started (there are some additional ideas in the comments as well):
Here’s a Free Text-to-Speech Application for E-Learning
There is other text-to-speech software, but it is not free. VoiceBunny is a good one.
