Grants, scholarships, alternative sources of funding
Nov 05, 2015
Hello community,
I need some help. I work for a State agency that has a very limited budget. Well, a very limited budget for training and development. So I am tasked with developing all of the e-learning content from HR for 3000+ employees. But I have $0 to buy things I need. Now I am looking at purchasing Storyline (I already have Studio) because of some of the functionalities it has. We do not have the funding available for me to do this. Can anyone direct me to someplace that would have some resources available? I know there has to be something out there. I just do not know where. Thanks in advance.

Hi Scott,
I'm not sure what type of resources you're looking for - are you looking for a funding source? Depending on your state agency, it may fit within our Articulate for Good set up.
You may also want to post this in the Building Better Courses side of the forums to see if anyone can offer thoughts on what you need.
Hi, Scott -- Thanks for your question! As you work for a state agency, I am not certain if this would be a good option for your situation or not, but I wanted to share the information on the Articulate For Good program for non-profits that was announced recently. The deadline for applications is November 30, 2015, so if you think this may be a good fit, by all means apply!
And if you do not think your agency would qualify, hopefully your fellow community members can chime in with additional ideas and suggestions you can try. Best of luck to you!
Thank you both for responding. I looked at the Articulate for Good program, unfortunately we would not qualify. But I have sought out others in the field and may have received a couple of leads. I appreciate your assistance.
