Grouped items disappear just before end of timeline

I have noticed that, occasionally, items that are grouped will disappear a fraction of a second before the timeline ends. These images are set to "Show until end" and they do not have an exit animation applied to them at either the individual or group level, yet this ONLY happens if the items are grouped - if I ungroup them, suddenly the problem is not there. Group them again, and it comes back.
I have noticed this numerous times throughout numerous projects, yet it is never consistent - it seems to be completely random and, thankfully, also rare, but I would like to get to the bottom of it as I always have to create workarounds and it would be easier if it would just simply work as it's supposed to.
Any ideas?

That's interesting. Are you able to upload the file for us to look at?

Are you only seeing this while previewing or as a part of the published output too? Can you confirm you're working on local project files as well?
Hi Ashley, I submitted this as a support request and it sounds like it is a bug so I have just gone with my workaround.
