It sounds like you created a custom "Exit" tab in your player. Custom tabs will appear on all slides throughout the course, and only the default tabs like Notes and Resources can be hidden on a per-slide basis.
Instead of using a custom player tab, you could create your own exit button on the Slide Master. Then you could easily show or hide the button, as needed.

No, there is no scope for that, because i am using default buttons too for other purpose (Menu, Resources, Glossary, Note)
Sorry not following - where is the Exit button you want to hide?
on particular slide (eg. on first page of course and on the assessment questions)
