Hint layer showing upon return to slide

Jan 29, 2013

I have a slide that has three buttons. A user must click on each of three buttons before they can progress. If they click Next before clicking each of three buttons they get  a message saying that you must click all of the buttons before you can proceed. This works just fine, however if you click the previous button when you come back to the slide you are presented with the warning message. How do I stop this from happening. I've attached a sample of what I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jesse,

Are you talking about the slide with the 3 markers? I think I see what you're saying, the warning displays when revisiting the slide. When setting the layer (not the entire slide) to resume saved state, it pops up, but does close after some time. After looking at this a few times, it actually looks like the warning layer is opening up again after hitting "Next".

I think this is because of the variables that have been added to the "Next" button. However, changing the slide itself to reset to its initial state seems to solve this problem. I'm not sure if this is something that will work for you, though.
