There's an area of my hotspots where the mouse turns back to a pointer and it's not clickable. It seems to be the region of the screen (toward the top). Anybody have any insight? Thanks!
Hello, I looked at the file, it seemed to work ok for me, however I am in SL360 update from Nov, have not updated to newer updates yet.
See attached, I did change a couple of things as a suggestion, you may want to take from or not:
1) Put first button (Transcript) on the Slide Master ( I didn't do other 2). I put a 99% transparent white box in the button and put the text in there as well, vs. using a hotspot on top of it.
2) Put Transcript dialog there as well. Removed all effects on all objects, grouped them all and used two Motion Paths instead, one to bring the box on, one to take it off. I put on Slide Master so it would also show up under the blue header bar.
You may want to add another condition so if they click the button again, to do nothing, or to close it if they click it instead of the X button. Not sure your desired effect.
Perhaps some of it may be helpful. Many ways to do things and depends on your desired end effect and how everything is being used together. Good luck.

If you are talking about this slide, my pointer stays a hand in all parts of the hotspot (green area).
If I stretch the hotspot out over the whole slide, I do see the dead spot, but only in the desktop and phone landscape versions, none of the others.
I'd report it as a bug.
Ugh. My mistake. I posted the wrong file. It's the 3 items in the top bar in the sample I'm posting now. Thank you for taking a look!

Jeff, sorry for the delay in responding. Thank you SO much for helping me figure this out. Your solution was brilliant!
