How can I store info from variables?

Hello fine minds of the internet. I have a burning question that I really want to resolve.

What is the easiest and cheapest way for me to achieve saving data from my articulate forms (eg name, email, score). I want to use the following to be able to store the information in it and let me pick a winner. I've managed to get a javascript to run that will use the clients email to forward the info, but this looks cheap and nasty and the UX is not nice enough to blag with my clients!

This isn't my trick Chris, just one I'm fond of. Bastiaan Timmer wrote that tutorial, but if I recall correctly it was Steve Flowers who originally came up with this approach.

Another option would be to embed a Google Form (or one from another online form provider, e.g. TypeForm, Wufoo etc.) via a web object. For details on how to do this, see here.

Or, if you are using an LMS, you can pass the variables to the LMS using this approach.

There is nothing in 360 that'll take care of this for you. However, it is well worth testing for other reasons!

It would be the 30 day trail, then try and talk myself into it from there, to be honest, I love this software, but I find a few things just out of my grasp.

I followed this guide you sent me, but sadly it says in the database (undefined) in each of the fields, any idea on why that is? My variables are named identical in the .story file. The javascript is on the last slide and triggered on when timeline starts.

Cheers for the help as always!

If you are getting 'undefined' show up in the spreadsheet, it sounds like things are almost working correctly! My guess is that your variable names might not be exactly the same. Double check that you aren't using, for example, email and Email, as case sensitivity matters.

If you can't figure it out, send it through and I'll take a look when I have a minute.
