How do I bypass the player submit button for Hotspot questions?

Aug 22, 2013

I am trying to create a quiz in which I use a hotspot question.  For look and feel consistancy in my courses, I want my own button to be used when submitting the answer rather than having the player's submit button or advancing when the user clicks on the answer. How can I do this?

I am able to do this for multiple choice questions but can't figure out how to do it for hotspot questions.

Thanks

Clint

Owen,

I already performed the steps that you provided. Now whenever I clck on my hotspots, my own button appears as programmed, but the score isn't isn't being recorded.

I have 3 triggers set on my next button to as follows:

Set Question2 equal to checked (this is a variable that I set up)

When the user clicks NextQuestion

Submit interaction Hotspot

When the user clicks NextQuestion

Jump to Results slide

When the user clicks NextQuestion
