I've searched the forums on this and have seen issues with & in a URL, but mine is in an acronym and I need it to be in the "term" in the Glossary/Player. I'm using the Glossary feature as an acronym list. Right now, the & is being removed. In one case (the term is M&O) It showed up as M _O, and in another, (M&O CWG), it appears with an underscore under the O.
Any suggestions on how to get around this? It's really surprising the & appears to be disallowed.
P.S. The & symbol works in the definition, just not in the term. (And I have no idea why, when I tried to edit my original post (above?), I had to verify myself (picking pictures with cars) and then the entry was grayed out and marked "reported." Why is that?????!!!
This works fine for me in 360 both modern and classic. Have you tries using 2 ampersands (&&)? I cannot test but this used to be the workaround in a lot of Microsoft products
I can see that you're using Storyline 2 and it looks like Phil has nailed the solution with the 2 ampersands:

So, I have to make an important update to the above. I used Phil's suggestion and it fixed the problem in the player, BUT... later, when I published and posted online, the double && displayed!!
As an experiment, I did one of each. The one that displayed incorrectly in the player DID display correctly when published.
Solution: Ignore the odd underscore in the player and double-check when you publish and post.

Nope... it took out the & and put the underscore under the pound sign. :-\
But thank you!

Amazing! That did it. Thanks, Phil!
