How to enter the Title and Meta Description for published storyline files for SEO benefits

Sep 28, 2021

Hello, I had published some short courses in HTML and they have got indexed by Google. However the Title and Description should be optimized for SEO, so that it can rank higher for some search terms. Where do I add them in the published story.html file? Or do I have to enter this in Storyline somewhere and then again publish it?

Hi Mandar,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are working on.

If Google is indexing your content, I assume that you are publishing for web distribution, and it looks like you are a Storyline 3 user:

Storyline 3: Publishing a Course for Web Distribution

When publishing your course, you have options for descriptions and keywords. Our team does not recommend modification of the published output, but others in the community may chime in and help you if you prefer this method.

Besides tagg and meta description don't forget to optimize the content with the help of https://rush-analytics.com/land/content-optimizer. This combination gives really great results. We could witness that when working on our client's blog about travelling in the Costa Blanca area in Spain.
