How do I get rid of this black line that appears after I change state or put in a different layer. It only appears during preview the editing slide look great.
Are you experiencing this black line when you publish a course as well?
Is this an issue with just one slide or multiple?
From the appearance, it looks like it could be an object outline that can be removed by clicking on the object and selecting the 'No outline' option here:
