How to hide buttons

May 15, 2014

I am new to articulate and have created some buttons that trigger change of states when hovered over a picture. However I do not want the buttons to be visible to the participant. I have selected no fill and no outline, but when the button is hovered over, it creates an outline until the participant moves the cursor out of the button outline. Is it possible to remove this outline?

Sounds like your button has a hover state.  To edit the states of the button look at the bottom of your screen.  There is a tab for states in the area with your timeline.  Click the states tab, and then click the Edit States button.  Select the Hover state and the Delete State Button will be active (It has a red X).  Click Delete State, and say yes to the prompt.  This will remove the hover state from your button.
