How to Properly Format Bullets with Right-to-Left Text

I'm working on translating a course into Arabic, and with the right to left text, numbered bullets aren't displaying correctly.

They should display .1, but instead are displaying like left to right bullet should (1.)

However, when I click the bullet menu, the bullets are displayed as they should (see attached). How can I fix this?
