How to survey results for a course module using Storyline

I've run into a problem when using the premade Essay slide (under the Survey tab) and relaying the 'survey' results once it has been completed.

Just for some context, I am creating an online course module that is to be using in addition in-class lectures. They are created and uploaded as LMS with SCORM 1.2 onto the platform Desire2Learn (D2L). As of now we have successfully created modules which contain multiple choice and multiple response quiz questions within the modules which successfully relay grades and completion information back to the D2L gradebook for each student.

We wanted to use the essay slides to get students to write a quick reflection and have their 'survey results' (the reflection) sent back to admins of the D2L page, so they can grade each reflection. If this isn't possible to see each survey result once it has been submitted, we would like to be able to know whether the survey has been at least completed.As of right now, neither of these objectives can be achieved. How can see or export all these survey results? Are there any specific settings on the results page or on the reporting and tracking of the module which isn't allowing us to send the survey results?
