HTML5 Accessibility - no heading on page

Apr 07, 2020

Our website is using SiteImprove to help with us address accessibility.  I've noticed that pages that contain our Storyline modules (html5) that were uploaded via FileZilla are throwing Level A accessibility errors because the page itself does not have a heading on it. Do you know how to fix this?

Hi Susan,

Thank you for reaching out!

Were these errors present before, or is this happening after uploading the files through FileZilla? What might be happening is that the files were not properly uploaded to the server, which could be causing the errors you are seeing.

We have a great resource that I hope will provide additional guidance here:

If you can share your files with us, we are more than happy to take a closer look! You can share files in this thread, or you're always welcome to share them privately here. We'll let you know our findings and will delete it after troubleshooting!
