The hover state for my hyperlink text adds an all-black background. I have the hyperlink text in a text box that has no animation. I'm using Storyline 360 Build 3.32.20313.0. Can someone help?
You can check out this link if you need to change the highlight color when you hover on the word. If you don't want a highlight color, I think you can consider using hotspots or using a trigger on a blank, transparent shape over your text or the entire text box where your text is stored.
According to this information- “Articulate Storyline will use a lighter shade of the same color for the hover color—the color that appears when you hover over a hyperlink.”
The hover color appears to be black, not a lighter shade of the hyperlink color from the color theme. I’ve included a screen shot of my theme colors.
Thanks for sharing these images! I've tried to replicate it myself, and it seems to be by default for lighter colored text to have a dark hover so that it remains legible during hover.
If you make the hyperlink color a darker shade, does the hover then become lighter for you?
Although that fixes the problem, I don't want to be forced to create a custom color scheme each time I run into this issue. I'm going to roll back my Storyline to the last version I had and test again. I'm interested to see if this is happening because I updated to the current SL360 version on 9/24/19.
Here is some more information. I happen to be working at home today. The hover background does not appear black to me. My coworker in the office sees black as the hover background. Could this be a display settings issue? Or, perhaps that she is using two monitors and I'm using one?
Thanks for the great information! It could possibly be a display settings issue. Are you able to share your file with us? I'll take a look and see what could be causing the inconsistencies.

I changed the hyperlink text color to a darker shade and this is how it looks now.

I tried this on another computer that has SL360 version 3.27.188220. It now has a darker shade of the text color, instead of black.
