Hyperlink on a simple text element?
Jan 07, 2013
Hi together!
I´m new in this forum and also in the articulate software, but I was told,
that I get some helpful solutuions to my problems here. So I´ll give it a try ...
My first problems seems to be simple, but to me it is quite a big one:
I created a Quiz in storyline. On the result slide I want to hyperlink the answer
to another website.
Is it possible to just mark one word and equip it with a hyperlink or do I have
to use a web object?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Kr,
Dominik

You should be able to highlight the word and go to the insert tab and select the Hyperlink option?

Yes, that was the option I was looking for.
Thank you, Tony!
Hello again!
Now I´ve published my quiz, and I wanted to test it.
But when I click on the link, nothing happens. '
It does not jump to the url.
Anyone an idea?
thx,
Dominik
Hi Dominik. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
Glad you were able to find the option to insert the hyperlink (Thanks Tony)!
First, make sure that you aren't viewing the published content locally. If you do this, the hyperlinks may not function properly due to some restrictions with web browsers. Try uploading your content to a web server or LMS in order to test the links.

This could also be a Pop-up blocker/Tool bar issue?
Just something else to consider.
