I have a problem with storyline 2. I cannot import audio files. I also cannot record directly using the microphone. I did not have issues in Articulate 9/13 or Storyline 1. My microphone is working.
When I try to import a wave file (44kbs/16 bit) the UI says it is saving the file, but then nothing shows up. Similar experience when I try to record directly.
Please make sure you are working locally with the files as described here. you may also try opening another file and see if you can import the audio there.

Be sure that you are working locally as explained here, but it sounds as if you may need to conduct a repair of your software.
Yes. I am working locally and the file names are not out of bounds.
