Icon affecting show layer trigger
Feb 21, 2018
This is a bit of an odd one. Attached is a test file to illustrate the issue, but I will try to explain it:
It appears an icon I am using (from the content library) is preventing a trigger from working correctly. I have a basic shape that when clicked should show Layer 1.
When on layer 1 I would like all elements from the base layer to be invisible, however when I disable these, the trigger from the base layer to show layer 1 does not work.
I have narrowed this problem down to icon 3 from the base layer. When icon 3 is visible on layer 1, the trigger to view layer 1 works. When icon 3 is invisible on layer 1 the trigger to view layer 1 does not work and appears to just hide icon 3...(!?)
Is this a random bug, or am I missing something?

Hi Leonie!
This one is a real puzzle! It appears that this problem is happening in the HTML5 output only--the Flash output works normally.
Check out this screen recording to see what I mean.
I'm going to share this with our Support Engineers to get further insight. They'll reach out as soon as they've tested your file!
Thanks Alyssa. I'm glad it wasn't just me!
I'm using a different icon now as I needed to get the project out, but hopefully this query is useful anyway in case anyone else has a similar issue.
Hi Leonie!
I just popped into your case, and I see that the culprit was a corrupted icon. I'm happy to hear that everything is working correctly with a new icon. Thanks for working with us to get this sorted out!
