I've noticed that the player does not utilize the entire screen. Things that I would expect to be clearer appear blurred. Am I missing a basic technique? Is there a way to expand the size of the player so that text is clearer?
Do you want the screen recording to fill the entire slide area? If so, you'll want to set the dimensions of the recording area to be the same dimensions as the slide size. Or if you recorded the video outside of Storyline, just change the slide size to match the dimensions of the video.
If the video seems blurry, adjust the Compression setting to "None" on the Video Tools Options tab.

Ah, okay! What kind of video file are you using? Storyline supports uncompressed MP4 videos in published output. This applies to the three most common MP4 profiles: baseline, main, and high.
If the Compression property is grayed out, it means your video was created with a different profile or it has been edited with Storyline's built-in video editor.
Yes. I did all of the video capture within Articulate...not externally. I did have to do some editing to increase the volume, perhaps that is what disabled it.

I hope that helps!
Hi There:
Unfortunately under video settings, the compression settings are set to "Automatic", and it is grayed out... any ideas?

Hi Wilhelm,
You got it--editing the video volume will cause the compression dropdown to be grayed out. Let me know if you have other questions!
Also, it looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email! No worries, this Peek video will show you how to remove it.
