My images keep snapping onto a gridline or guide when I move them around. This limits me to place images in a precise location. Is there a way to stop them from doing that?
Hi Tria! Sure thing. To turn off the snap, right-click in the gray space at the side of your slide area and choose Grid And Guides. That will bring up the window below, where you can unmark either of the top two boxes:
I know this is an old post but for the sake of others looking for this you can also hold down the "Alt" key on your keyboard while moving your image which temporarily turns off snapping and allows you to place your images precisely.

Hi Tria,
If you'd like, you can disable the "Snap to" feature in the Grid and Guides settings. Take a look a this tutorial for more information.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Christine
Uh-Oh! Jeanette beat me to it
Thank you all! I wasn't able to find how to do it, so this helps tremendously!

Thanks, Graham, for the tip!
