In the attached example, I have setup a dial to select from one of three pictures and then converted the slide to a free-form Pick One quiz slide.
Normally for a quiz slide of this nature, you would need to select the picture in order to be able to submit your answer, so what I have done instead is to use three triggers to change the state of the appropriate picture (i.e. the one the dial is pointing at) to Visited when the Submit button is clicked. This has the same effect as selecting the picture itself. Each of the triggers use the value of the Dial1 variable as a condition.
For this example, Picture 3 generates the correct result.
