. . . to insert a new object or text box to start at a specific point on a timeline? As opposed to inserting it and it always starting at Point 0 and then you either resize and move it, or right-click on it and set the timing.
For when you have a long timeline and you want something to be seen in the middle and not at the beginning.
Hey Gerry - if you move the playhead on the timeline to the spot where you want your object, then choose Insert - Picture/Shape/Text Box/etc., the object you just inserted should align with the playhead. Is that what you were looking for?

Just bring everything in at "0" and then use the "Align to Playhead" right-click option to move to correct point.
