iSpring + Articulate SCORM content

Feb 18, 2019

Hi,

Is anyone here using iSpring LMS here? I've created a SCORM content with Articulate that includes quizzes but somehow, iSpring wasn't able to extract out the results of the quizzes after users have completed the quiz.

Is there a compatibility issue here? I doubt so because it's following SCORM's standard. Is anyone able to advise me? Thanks in advance!

Hi Calvin,

I don't know much about iSpring and how they'd extract data, but a few things you may want to look into:

  • what LMS specification did you publish for? Does that match the requirements of iSpring?
  • Did you include a results slide to track your quiz, and choose that as the tracking option?
  • What versions of Articulate are you using? Is it supported by the version of iSpring you're using?
  • What browser(s) are you launching the course in? Is it supported by both Articulate and iSpring?
  • Lastly, how are you closing the course? Is there an exit button or simply closing down the browser? I've seen some LMSs require one or the other.

Feel free to let us know the answers to the above, and hopefully, folks in the community who also use iSpring can point you in the right direction!

Hi, Calvin! I'd be grateful if you could share the way you managed to do it? I'm struggling with the same issue right now. I created a course in SL360 containing 3 quizzes (type in text survey, Likert scale and D&D), uploaded it to iSpring Online and it turned out that LMS doesn't identify any of them. Without seeing the exact answers the course doesn't make sense. I'm really looking forward to hearing from you.

P.S. Just in case, I've got a result slide and it has a trigger - submit results of the slide and complete the course when the timeline of its slide starts. I also chose the result slide in the tracking option and publish it in SCORM 2004 (4).
