Java & Scorm

Sep 27, 2017

Hi everybody. Our system at work doesn't officially support Java. How can I see if a scorm has Java included. And how can I be sure that when I publish an elearning it has no Java?

Appreciate your help

The api that scorm uses is a javascript object. That is how the communication between sco and lms works. There really is no way around it.

However, support for javascript is at the browser level and most modern browsers handle it.

Perhaps it is java applets that are not supported in your case?  Hope that helps.

Greetings, Anderson!

Javascript is outside our wheelhouse of support, but I see you're getting some excellent community guidance from Owen over here. Also, great move to share the .story—I'm excited to see what the coding gurus will share!

In the meantime, built-in playlist/background audio support is a feature we're tracking. I'll add your vote, and report back when we're ready to share an update!
