Jumping ship

Sep 06, 2018

Hi

I've recently seen the improvements for Adobe Captivate 2019. And after 6 years I'm thinking of jumping ship. I'm not a fan of the 360 subscription model and I really like what Adobe have done with built in VR and 3D.

Please please please, tell me this is coming very soon to SL3/Sl4 and that its worth my time waiting....

Thank you Matthew

Your advice is very welcome. I'm not keen to leave SL3, but as my employee population is already a majority of millennial and set to be the majority for all of us in 7 years, I need to continue to encourage use of the LMS and with the speed if learning technologies the flat 2 D structure of traditional e learni g is lost g it's appeal.

Along with a subscription to e learning brothers my only choice would be to purchase a learnbrite subscription again another $990 per year. Another reason not to enrage with 360.

I'm hoping to hear very soon that Articulate and or omiplex (UK) are creating a package or update that can allow me to stay and still move with the trends.

I want to use 360° panorama photos/videos in my training. Though Captivate's 2019 offering (which came out a year and a half ago) was nifty, it needed more work to be useful in scenarios we're looking to create. Right now we're faking it, but it'd be great to have in an upcoming Storyline release. Please.

Hi, everyone!

I have exciting news to share!
We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 54, we’ve included important fixes and new features.

One of the features we’ve included is:

Create immersive learning experiences with 360° images. Add interactive elements, such as hotspots and markers to engage learners as they explore.

360° images are currently in public beta for Storyline 360, which means you can use them for production as we continue to enhance them.

To take advantage of this feature, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
