We're looking at several LMS vendors right now: Absorb LMS, SumTotal Learn, Cornerstone, and Ultimate Software's new LMS product. If you have experience with any of these, can you tell me what you like / don't like? Do Articulate products work well? Are there any issues that drive you crazy or features that make your life so much easier?

I've only had experience with clients who have used the LMS vendors you're looking at to set up their systems to handle output from Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio.
So others will be better poised to give you info about their LMS vendor experiences, but I can tell you that I've never had a client have a problem with Articulate files on their LMS systems. (I'm guessing that's what you mean about whether the products work well?)
Anyway, best of luck with vendor selection. I'm looking forward to hearing feedback from others too!
I used to work with an Articulate partner who only offered Absorb LMS with Storyline. It's substantially been improved and is probably worth a look. You can ask for a live demo too.
My company uses Sum Total as their LMS which provides compliance courses for over 2000 employees across the world. There have not been any major issues with uploading or distributing the courses, the impression I get is that my HR department are very happy with their service as they have recently renewed their contract.
While I don't have experience with ALL of those vendors, I have experience using SumTotal and Cornerstone OnDemand. We use Ulti at work for our HRIS system, and I will just say that I am not a fan. CSOD is definitely my favorite of those options, but I don't have experience with Absorb to be able to compare. Depending on your existing systems, I might also suggest giving Workday Learning a look. The object based architecture (NoSQL) is much cleaner than some of these older, table-based systems, and are usually snappier and more accurate for reporting purposes.
Robert, what LMS did your company choose? We recently signed up with Mindflash LMS, but it doesn't really work well with Rise courses, which is what I've built all of my content in thus far.
