Losing Slide layout background

Hi.

I am suing Storyline 360 (latest update).

I have been using my master slide layout to apply to all my menu screens.

I have set up all the menu option buttons (15).

I am now developing each menu option and linking it to the menu button as I go.

The only problem is that as soon as I link the main menu button to the developed slide for that menu option, I lose the background on my main menu and have to reapply the layout. This may hold for a while but then it sometimes disappears again and I have to reapply.

Is there a size limitation on scenes/projects/slides that could be causing this?

Additionally, sometimes when I try to apply my slide layout, the list only contains the articulate layouts and does not include my masters, until I restart Storyline 360.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing with your project.

We do not have any size limitations on your projects but would be dependent on your available resources, which I see Joseph popped in to help you with here.

Due to the inconsistencies, I'm curious if the issue happens in any course you are working on or just this particular one?

If you cannot re-create the issue in a new course, I would advise you to import the file into a new one and proceed.
If it's happening in any/all files, you should conduct a repair of your software.
