Marker not hiding on iphone

Hi there! I've created a piece to be used on mobile devices, similar to an app. One section has a dial that turns 360 degrees by moving a dot around the dial, picture included below. I put a marker on the dot with the swirl option so it is obvious what object needs to be moved to turn the dial. The marker is set to hide when the user hovers over the dot and is never used again. I only wanted it for the swirl effect. It is also set to Audio Only.
All of this works just as designed on Android, iPad and even the computer. However, the marker is not hiding on an iPhone. Any thoughts on what I can do to make this work?
