I have some markers in my project with icons on top of them. Hovering over the marker reveals text like it is meant to but once i complete the action, the icon disappears beneath the marker. Any idea why this would be happening? My Icons are arranged above my markers.
I'm happy to help. My first thought is to check the States of the markers and/or icons on the markers. Are they set to change states when the user clicks or views the content? If so, I'd look to see if the icons are removed when the markers are a certain state.

Thanks Lauren, I added the icon to the normal state of the marker rather than having it as a separate object on top of the marker and that solved the issue!

Wow! I came looking for an answer to the same question! My marker and icon both only have one state.
