Markers used as buttons make other buttons stop working?
Mar 23, 2017
Hi!
I have made my own forward/back buttons and put on a layer on every slide. This have been working ok. But after a slide with markers used as buttons to navigate to other slides, my forward/back buttons starts acting strange. One of them disappears when hovering.
Someone that can help me? I´m new at this e-learnig tool.
I have a file where I have isolated the problem attached if it helps.
The slides i the File:
- a white slide
- a video
- then a slide with a pink sign
- the markers (Click on the pink sign)
- A copy of slide 3 but now the arrow-buttons dont work?

Looks like this was created using SL360. Sorry, can't help you with this one.
Hello Josefin,
Thanks for sharing your file with us! It looks like you were using a custom hover state called "over" with triggers to change the state of the button to "over" when the mouse hovers over. Storyline has a default hover state, and when you use default states, you don't need triggers for them. I changed all of the "over" states to "Hover", and now it looks like it's working well! Take a look at the updated file I attached. I hope this helps!
