Thank you Mr C! I'm aware of this solution however it does not fit this situation. My questions was related to the custom javascript I currently use for this situation in Storyline 2. I basically was looking to see if there was a more elegant solution than the one I'm using. I'm thinking not. Thanks for you reply!

In Storyline 2 & 3 you can set a trigger on the next button to the disable state on the start of timeline
When the timeline (video) ends the next trigger sets the state of the next button to normal
Should be the same in 360 maybe
