Menu and browser settings

May 13, 2022

Hi all, I am seeking assistance regarding menu settings and hoping someone on the forum can help me.
I have developed a module and need to restrict the menu (actioned). This all unlocks nicely as the learner works their way through (exactly what I want), but when I go back into the module (to review sections) it doesn't seem to recognise that I have viewed all the slides asks me to resume from about half way through (it shows complete in the SCORM log and on the LMS dashboard). I have the browser settings set to prompt to resume.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
TIA :)

Hi Kim,

If your course is having bookmarking issues when the course is resumed, there's a chance that your course is exceeding the suspend_data limit which tells the learning management system (LMS) where you leave off when you exit the course and lets you resume the course later in the same place without having to start over. This article explains suspend_data limits in greater detail, as well as how to address the limit.

To check if your course is exceeding the suspend_data limit, you'll need to enable the LMS debug log for your course and go through it until you see an entry in your logs that the suspend_data limit has been exceeded.
