I used screen recordings and added audio after. When I pause the video the audio continues. Is there a way I should layer it or merge it so the controller works on the Audio and Video in the slide?
The seekbar is specific to the slide timeline - so regardless of audio or video, you can still enable it from the player and then choose what slides would display it if you wanted to customize the individual slide property settings:
I used the recommendation just to keep a seekbar for controlling the flow of both video (screen recording) and audio. However, if I used at least once a seekbar button to pause the whole slide; then if I click play, and if then I click on the screencast capture the slide keeps going but the video pauses until I click on it again so there is again a mismatch. Can I so something about it?
Thanks! I found another solution somebody posted: I placed the hotspot over the whole slide with the trigger to play video when click on it. Thanks again!
Hello again! I am working on the designing another course right now and I am having again this issue. I am using not a screen cast this time but an inserted video and both solutions with hotspot play video trigger and transparent shape over the video with transparency 98-99% do not work. Let me know how I tackle this issue. Thanks in advance!

Hi Barbara!
Are you using the pause button on the player seekbar or on the video controls directly below the video?

Ok so after that post I realized that I never added it to the player but it runs on all the slides as if there's video in them?

Over the screencast, place a filled shape, with its transparency set to 98 -99%. That will prevent the screencast from pausing when it is clicked.

Sorry, solved it! The timeline of the hotspot was not aligned properly.
Hi Yulia,
I'm so glad you were able to nail down the cause of the issue. Thanks for sharing!
