My quiz references Results 40 ScorePercent Results40ScorePass on my results slide. When I try to reference Results 40 ScorePercent in my variable it is not listed in the variable list. It goes from 4ScorePercent etc and then straight to 41ScorePresent etc
How can I create this variable , why is it missing and if I can't create this variable how can I work with this ?
Ok what you need to do is try and work out which result variables are being referenced on the result slide...even though it says result40 that may not be correct.
Done that, my question is , when you assign the field that holds the value (whether or not the pass result has been attained) which then sets the variable to true or false depending on results , whereby you can assign 39.ScorePoints 39.ScorePercentage 39.PassPoints 39.PasPercentage et al there is no 40.PassPoints 40.ScorePoints etc however on this results slide the values are for in the score box 40.ScorePoints etc and in the Pass box 40.PassPoints etc the 4 values for 40 are missing in the equal to or less than section of the variable editor.
Can you upload the .story file - might be easier to help you if we can see the exact setup. Just use the grey 'ADD ATTACHMENT' button at the bottom of the post to upload.
Hi,
I've got around it , I wanted a tick box to show as ticked when an exercise was complete. I thought holding a true value in a variable would trigger this and it does most of the time. In this particular tick box it was not happening because I couldn't use 40.ScorePercent etc because they don't exist so the result slide could not match the conditions in the variable.
Crazy.
Thank you so much for your help.
Kind regards,
Stephen

Hi Stephen
SL auto creates four system variables when you insert a result slide. You cannot manually create these variables.
Do you really have 41 result slides in your project?
Hi,
Yes I see that, ermm it isn't my storylinbe but yes, the results field on the slide is results 40 , there is no variable 40ResultScore.
