I have the following issue. I have included a few links that lead to external URLs in a module.
Here is the scenario
1. I click on a link that leads to an external URL.
2. If I do not wait for the site to load and close the browser before it has loaded, the module restarts ...
3. If I leave the site to fully load, then close the browser, I have no problems.
So it is a matter of leaving the site to load, but it is not really user friendly to explain in the beginning of the module that they are supposed to wait for sites to fully load.
Also, it would be helpful if you could share your .story project file here so I can test it on my end. You can use the gray Add Attachment button at the bottom of the reply window.
Thank you for your reply. The project is really a big one that I am doing for an international organisation. Nothing secret, but it's not really practical to share it.
Actually, I realise that this issue happens only when I upload it on our local Moodle. I tested it on SCORM Cloud and on Moodle Cloud and it behaves ok. Apparently, the issue is with our local Moodle installation.
