I wanted to see if it was possible to upload riles from a PC to Rise? I'm moving from a PC to a Mac and since Storyline isn't available on Macs yet, I wanted to see what everyone else was doing?
My company doesn't allow for Parellels on our computers so I don't know what else I would be able to do as all of our LMS content is in Storyline .story files. I'm getting my new machine tomorrow so any help would be great
Hi William. That's a tough spot to be in. It sounds like you are considering transitioning your Storyline courses into Rise for future authoring and editing. You already have an LMS where you're hosting your Storyline courses, so using Storyline blocks in Rise doesn't sound like the right fit for this situation.
It isn't a one-to-one transition since Rise is built completely differently than Storyline. You'll have to do some rebuilding.
I'll defer to the community for other tips on how to handle this, but I would assess the complexity of your Storyline courses and have a conversation with the powers that be about the cost of rebuilding those courses for Rise versus allowing a virtual machine software, like Parallels, so that you can run Storyline.
