Moving our Storyline 360 courses from our LMS to our server

Discussion within our organization to have our users be able to take courses directly from within our own software.   We currently use an LMS, single sign on, and publish our SL360 and Rise courses in a Scorm format.   I need to present what functionality we may lose by going this route.  Our courses have interactions with Engage - and have interactivity within each course on top of that - some of our key courses are between 30 and 60 minutes in length - so a learner needs to get out and back in again - and pick up where they left off.   We don't have quizzes currently but may in the future.  We focus mainly on complete/incomplete.  We do need to track that completion and have training records.  Asking someone who knows much more than me - the pros and cons here - what else am i missing?
