Multi-level game not calcculating, returning results in SABA

Feb 27, 2017

I made a basketball game. If you fail Level 1, you go to Level 2. If you pass Level 1, you earn 100 points and go to the Results slide. If you pass Level 2, you earn 100 points and go to the Results slide. If you fail Level 2, you go to Level 3. If you pass Level 3 ...you get it, right? However, the Results slide (I only have one, do I need more?) calculates the variable YourScore1, 2, or 3 accurately, totals it inaccurately (100 points needed to pass from any level). It's compiling the points so that 300 are needed to pass. And, the passing percentage variable remains blank. It doesn't feed SABA (my LMS) anything. Users get "Completed. Unsuccessful." They receive no score.

I think the passing score needs to be adjusted to 100 and don't know how. I wonder if I need multiple Results slides and don't know what to set as triggers for them to operate successfully. I'm relying on this community of experts to help me. Please. I'll attach my file.

Hello Crisa - Thanks for sharing your published output. I published to SCORM Cloud so that I could take a look and it seems that there is no score reported on the result slide either, so I'm sure that may be the issue. However, without seeing the file it may be hard to tell what is going on. Would you be able to share the .story file for us to take a look?

Hello Crisa - So many layers ;)

So, you have triggers with each score variable that are subtracted from themselves. So, that would be zero, right? Which is what I am seeing.

I think if you do not re-set the scores and allow them to accumulate for your correct responses, then this will work as expected.

Hopefully others in the community that have ideas for your design will chime in to better assist.
