I'm fairly new to Storyline and trying to let go of my PowerPoint ways, so I apologize in advance. I have three audio files for a single slide. I want them to play one after the other, or, if a user clicks (no buttons, just click anywhere), audio 1 stops and 2 plays, then if they click again, audio 2 stops and audio 3 plays. What I can't seem to figure out is how to advance through the audios without tying them to specific objects.
Cali, didn't you also want to make sure that 'if a user clicks (no buttons, just click anywhere), audio 1 stops and 2 plays, then if they click again, audio 2 stops and audio 3 plays'. Or was that a fallback solution? I don't see how staggering sound files on the timeline would accomplish that.
You're correct. Staggering wouldn't accomplish this. I interpreted it to not be Cali's first choice...that her first choice was to simply have them appear consecutively with no need for user to click...
Consecutive was the goal, but it would be great to know how to do the "click anywhere" approach as well. I was just so pleased to be able to move on my next issue, I didn't follow up. Glad Michael is looking out for me!

Hi Cali,
You can simply place the slides adjacently along the timeline:
These will play one after the other with no need to tie them to objects.
Please shout out with any questions.
Thanks Rebecca! I knew it had to be an option somehow and this is a simple, elegant solution!
Glad it worked...sorry for the typo (should have said place the audio files adjacently) and glad you were able to interpret

Oh, and hopefully Cali will pop back in if she DOES need to play/pause audio!
