Navigation not returning to the menu slide

Hi y'all,

Was recently running a Storyline course when I came across an interesting phenomenon. One of the group could not get their navigation working, where there was a need to redirect the learning back to the first slide of the course. (The content would just stop at the last slide and not allow them to continue) BTW the navigation was on the player, click next to return to slide 1.1.

Checked all the triggers etc and all seemed AOK. The clincher was when I got her to open the pre-built scenario exercise where the user gets sent back to the start if the choose one particular path. This also, without the user touching anything in the project, did not want to return to the first slide. It just stopped on the last slide she could view before the return.

All navigation worked perfectly for all others in the group.

Can anyone suggest what might be on her laptop that would stop this function working?

Again all other player based navigation worked for her, it only stopped to work when the navigation returned to the first slide.
