I have been trying to figure this out. I am new using variables. I have a variable executing a Java Script getting information from the LMS into a text box. (Example say Name).
Based on the information retrieve Is there a way to set up a variable that says if your name is BOB jump to slide 3, or John jump to slide 4.
If the variables are Storyline variables (not just contained within your Javascript or LMS) you could set up triggers with conditions about which slide to jump to based on the value. So for example "Jump to slide 3 when the user clicks the next button on the condition that the value of VariableName is BOB" and so on for each possible option. It's a lot of triggers to set up - and there may be a method that the community has created in Javascript so I'll defer to them in regards to sharing that.
