Need help fixing the spacing of objects in a "Group"

Apr 22, 2019

On one of my slides I added 6 rectangular colored shapes and then I placed text within each shape.  I want to get them evenly spaced in a section on my slide.  I made them into a group.    I think I remember one of the webinar's showing how you can group things and then arrange them evenly, but I cannot figure out how to do it.  These are shapes and not button's, as I think I read that someone said that you cannot do this with grouping buttons.  Any help would be appreciated.

I copied my group and pasted it onto a word document so people could see what I am trying to explain.  Hope it is viewable.

Thanks everyone.

Hi William,

You can use the gridlines, guide and ruler to perfectly position your objects with equal distance to each other. To show it in your project, you may go to VIEW > click on the checkbox for  Ruler/Gridlines/Guides or whichever you want to use. You may also check the link below for further editing enhancement.

Hope this helps.
