Is anyone else bothered by the the new interface on Storyline 2?
It seems that the flat design, loss of crispness, lower contrast, and grey fonts make it much more difficult to use.
I even tried fiddling with brightness and contrast on my monitors, but it is still hard for me to read the text. I feel like I need to clean my glasses...or adjust them
I find the start and end points of items on the Timeline are particularly hard to see when they are not selected. Despite having average eyesight, I also struggle with the lower contrast and grey fonts. I am excited by the new functionality, but find that the UI is not as clear as Storyline 1.
We've seen a few different threads about this - and I'd ask that your share your thoughts with our product development team here in the form of a feature request.

I totally agree.

Hi Kathy and Alan,
We've seen a few different threads about this - and I'd ask that your share your thoughts with our product development team here in the form of a feature request.
As usual, the support team have been very helpful, and their suggestion to turn on ClearType in Windows made a big improvement.
Thanks for the suggestion Ashley. I'll also put in a feature request to have an option for higher contrast objects in the Timeline.
Thanks Alan for the update - and I'm glad that the ClearType worked for you, and it wasn't a solution I had heard yet - so I'll keep that in mind!
I completely agree. It is so hard to see!! I put in a feature request as well.
