newbie needs help

Jun 08, 2021

hello everyone, i have only just started working with storyline 3. love it! please be patient with me. thanks. ;)
My question: I would like to create a course with 2 options per page, for example: do you prefer cats or dogs? after the selection you get to the next page with again 2 options and so on. my question now: after all the questions have been answered, i would like to present the answers in an overview, so that you can view your chosen answers in a summary. are there any tutorials? or can someone tell me where I can find something?
Thank you very much for the help.
Greetings from Switzerland

Hi, Jan, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm happy you love Storyline 3! I think you'll like it even more when you start learning about variables, which will let you add the interactivity you're looking for in your example.

Here are a few resources to get you started:

I am also attaching a .story file based on your scenario, so you can look at how I used the variables and references.

Hi, Jan,

This post provides a demo and instructions for tracking custom questions:

As Maria pointed out, you'll need to use variables. It's worth the time to learn about those, because they'll give you more control over what happens.
