Next button

Hi there,

I am using articulate storyline to chunk videos in small chapters of less then 5-7 minutes each. At the end of every chapter, I have customized a "next button". I noticed that on clicking next on first slide the video on the second slide played automatically. However, this doesn't happen in the rest of the slides. I remember using the same trigger commands. What could have I done differently? Can you help me try to figure this out.

Hi Manisha!

You mentioned the next button works on the first slide, and the video plays automatically on the next slide. However, what happens when you click the next button on the rest of the slides?

  • Does the next button not work at all? If so, it could be that the next button isn't triggered to go to the next slide. 
  • Does the next button work, but the videos don't play automatically? If so, check the Play Video setting. Be sure it's set to "Automatically."
