Nothing works to import PPT files
Mar 28, 2019
Okay, I am beyond desperate at this point. I have tried EVERYTHING and cannot import PPT slides into Storyline 2. I've uninstalled and installed all programs, did everything on any link that a person can ever send me, updated and repaired all programs, had someone take my PPT files and put them into Storyline for me, saved files on different drives...EVERYTHING. But I cannot import any PPT files including the practice files. I'm running Office 365 which claims to be compatible with Storyline 2. I missed a deadline to have an online training completed as a part of a research grant. Again, I am desperate!!! Since I'm at the mercy of waiting for tech support to play email tag with me, does anyone have any other solutions I can try? ANYTHING?

Hi Kimberly
I have SL2 - I'm happy to try and import the file in for you if you would like. If you want to do it privately just click my picture to contact me.

Hi Kimberly,
Thanks for sharing your file with our Support team. Since you're using a Click to-Run version of Powerpoint, the import process won't work correctly. The supported versions of Powerpoint include PowerPoint 2007-2019 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Office 365 (desktop apps only).
Hopefully you're able to use the Storyline file Lea sent you!
Yeah...
If you download Office 365, the desktop apps are click to run. So office 365 desktop apps are not supported files for PowerPoint in Storyline 2.
Thank you! I may have to take you up on your offer. I will reach out to you shortly.
Hi Kimberly, I experienced the same issue. It really is the click and run problem. I was trying to import a 365 ppt to articulate 360. It kept failing. However, when I switched to a computer with office 2010 installed, articulate 360 was able to import the exact same 365 ppt to articulate.
