Open your Player, then click the MENU button on the ribbon. Down at the bottom of the list of slides in your menu is a little GEAR icon. Click that for MENU OPTIONS.
Next click "number entries in the menu automatically". The slides stay in the order you moved them within the menu, but to the learner they see a nice clean numerical order (see auto number attached)
Alternatively you can click the little icon that looks like a square with a blue arrow (beside the gear icon) and it will reset the menu completely. Warning that this will remove any formatting you have done to the menu (e.g. made a slide a sub-section of a previous slide). (see reset below - slides go back into the order in the menu that they are within your design)
